Trekking in Nepal

There are several gorgeous locations for trekking. The dense forests, large varieties of plants and flowers, rivers crisscrossing the fertile plains and other heavenly sights furnish the most revitalizing trekking expeditions.

Schedule for the village Trekking Program:
Tuesday: Meet at Gangabu Bus Park at 06:00 am and drive to Syabru Bensi for approx 8 hours
Wednesday: Trek to Bamboo (1850) approx 4 hours lunch in Syabru gaun
Thursday: Treak to Ghore Tabela (3000m) approx 4-1/2 hours Lunch in Lama Hotel
Friday: Treak to Langtang Village (3500m) approx 3-1/2 hours Lunch in Chamki
Saturday: Trek to Lama Hotel (2380m) approx. 4.5 hour
Sunday: Trek to Syabru Bensi approx 5 hour
Monday: Bus back to Kathmandu

What to bring?
Your gear should be very light, because you need to carry on your own. Make sure it is not over packed. Here are the things that you need for the trip.
  • Hiking boot


  • One pare of walking pants (below the knees)


  • One pare of shirts for walking (extra)


  • Couple of T-shirts


  • Waterproof jackets just incase (raincoat)


  • Towel


  • Jumper (warm clothing)


  • Socks


  • Glove


  • Warm cap


  • Sun cap or baseball cap


  • Suntan lotion


  • Sun glass


  • Sun screen


  • Flashlight-necessary


  • Multi-purpose pocket knife


  • Sturdy water bottle-necessary


  • Sleeping bag-necessary


  • Backpack with liner to keep things dry (one with outside pockets for small items is useful)


  • Combination lock for safety


  • Iodine


  • Medical kit-necessary


  • Some junk food-necessary
